Story Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen, originaire du New Jersey, sort ses 2 premiers albums en 1973, avec son groupe E Street Band. Ceux-ci, bien accueillis par la critique, ne lui attirent pas un large public. Son 3ème opus  Born to Run en 1975, résolument plus rock lui amène un succès qui sera confirmé par Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978) et The River (1980). Après un album solo acoustique, il enregistre le très commercial Born in the USA en 1984 qui contient pas moins de 7 singles. En 1988, il participe à la tournée mondiale Human Rights Now! pour Amnesty International. Il remporte un Oscar en 1994 pour sa chanson Streets of Philadelphia puis produit son 2ème album folk, The Ghost of Tom Joad inspiré des ‘Raisins de la Colère’ de John Steinbeck.

Pour toutes ces raisons, je propose de faire un rappel de l’œuvre du Boss de 1973 à 1996. S’il a soutenu la campagne présidentielle de Barack Obama en 2008, il n’a pas hésité à qualifier Trump de malade mental…  C'est malheureusement confirmé.
